What are your rates?

Our rates are $290 for a 90-minute intake session and after, we schedule ongoing, weekly appointments that are 70-75 minute long for $235. The longer sessions critical to couples and much more effective for individual adult therapy. For some however; that can be too long, so I also offer a typical 50-55 minute session for individuals for $190.

Are phone or video sessions available?

Yes, absolutely. In fact, during the Shelter in Place order; I’m only doing online video sessions to maintain our health and safety.

Telehealth is a lot less scary than it sounds as we are all adjusting to it. We can also do sessions via phone if video is not comfortable for you.

Sometimes getting together can be challenging and video sessions are best. Typically, the initial intake session is done in person, before transitioning to fully remote sessions; however, it’s not required. Video and phone sessions are at the same rate as in-person sessions.

Do you take insurance?

At this time we do not take insurance. However, we provide monthly superbills that you may submit to your insurance. We recommend that you call you insurance company first to verify the amount that they will reimburse you before your first appointment. If you have more questions on this, please feel free to contact me.

How long will therapy take?

It completely depends on the types of challenges you’re facing and what you want to work on with your therapist. Sometimes, finding behavioral modifications can be easier, lasting only a few months. Typically, I recommend planning on for at least 3-6 months to work on the challenges you’re facing. You can stop therapy at at any time; there is no “set” number of sessions required.

Can we talk first, so I can see if it's a good fit?

Absolutely! Finding a good fit for your therapist is the number one measure of therapeutic success. We are happy to give a 10-15 minute initial phone consult so that you can talk more with us and see if it will be a good fit for you.
